Moderating Video
When approving video for public display or editing video/pictures you can also:
- Approve and/or “trust the sender” See trusted senders.
- Delete and/or block the sender.
- Edit the title
- View the source by PC, email, or cell phone number
- Activate or De-activate the video or picture. This is different from delete. Sometimes video needs to be suspended for further review but not deleted and removed from the site.
- Add the video to one or more channels
- Reset the views, ratings, comments, and public tags. This is useful for contests with an initial competition and then a “Finalist” competition.
- View the entire video
- Select one of five thumbnail images
Media Managers
Web managers cannot do everything, 24/7, and well. With the need to moderate audience generated video, we created Media Manager admin privileges. The main ADMIN can designate Media Managers with admin logon privileges to moderate (approve or remove) videos and pictures, to moderate comments, and tags. Media Managers receive the same email notices as the master ADMIN. However, Media Managers cannot edit display text, change colors, logos, create channels, or add other Media Managers.
Site Settings
CELLit Media Services are designed for media websites to engage audiences with video and pictures. The appointed local media website ADMINISTRATOR controls the settings for their audience’s maximum advantage. Some of the settings are: hosted page name, local time setting, flag status, remove old media, Media Moderation, Comment/Tag approval, main page setting.
